How does the process work?

We start with a discovery call (30–45 min, free) to understand your goals, existing assets, and timelines. From there we send a tailored proposal covering scope, deliverables, timeline, and investment. Once the proposal is signed and a deposit is paid, we kick off with a strategy session and get to work.

Do I need to be based in London to work with you?

Not at all. We work with clients across the UK and internationally. All project work runs remotely via video calls, shared documents, and our project management tools. We are based in Lewisham, SE13, but geography is no barrier.

What do you need from me to get started?

For brand projects: existing logo files, any current brand materials, and a brief about your business, audience, and goals. For websites and apps: content, copy, and access to any existing hosting or domain accounts. We provide a detailed onboarding checklist once the project is confirmed.

How involved do I need to be during the project?

We keep things efficient. You will have two to three structured feedback sessions built into the project. We do not need daily input, but we do need timely responses at review stages. Projects move faster when clients engage clearly at the right moments.

Can I start with brand identity and add web design later?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, and many clients do exactly that. We build your identity first, then carry it into the website. You also receive a 10% bundle discount when combining brand and website in the same engagement.

How long does a brand identity project take?

Accepted Answer

Typically 3–6 weeks from kick-off to final delivery, depending on the package and how quickly feedback is returned. The Brand Foundation package is usually 3–4 weeks; Brand System is 5–6 weeks; Signature Brand is 6–10 weeks.

How long does a website take?

A 5-page Starter Site typically takes 4–6 weeks. A Growth Site (up to 20 pages with CMS) takes 6–10 weeks. Timelines depend on content readiness: projects where content is delivered on time run significantly faster.

How long do web apps and dashboards take?

Internal tools and MVP dashboards: 4–6 weeks. Full web apps and dashboard systems: 8–12 weeks. Bespoke multi-tenant platforms are scoped during a 2-week discovery sprint before a delivery timeline is agreed.

Can you work to a tight deadline?

We can accommodate expedited timelines in some cases, subject to availability and an additional rush fee. Contact us as early as possible if you have a firm deadline and we will advise what is achievable.

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit is required to secure your project slot. The remaining 50% is due on delivery before final files or code are handed over. For projects above £6,000 we can structure a three-stage payment plan (50% / 25% / 25%) on request.

Do your prices include VAT?

No. All published prices are exclusive of VAT. UK VAT-registered clients will see VAT added at 20% on invoices. International clients are quoted in GBP by default; USD or EUR available on request.

What is the discovery fee for bespoke app projects?

For bespoke platform builds we charge a £850 discovery fee covering a 2-week scoping sprint, architecture recommendations, and a phased delivery plan. This fee is credited against the project total on engagements above £15,000.

Do you offer discounts for bundling services?

Yes. Brand Identity + Website: 10% off the combined total. Brand Identity + App: 15% off. Discounts are applied at the proposal stage. Simply ask when enquiring.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer (BACS) is our primary method. We also accept card payments via Stripe. Bank and card details are included on all invoices.

How many revisions do I get?

All packages include structured revision rounds: typically two rounds of amends within the agreed scope. We present work in rounds rather than open-ended iteration so the project stays on track and on budget. Additional revision rounds beyond what is included are quoted separately.

What if I do not like the initial concepts?

We present multiple design routes (usually 2–3 concepts for brand identity) so there is always a direction to build from. Feedback at this stage shapes the refinement round. If we are genuinely not aligned after two rounds of revisions, we will have an honest conversation about next steps. This is rare, but we address it directly.

Do I own the designs and code?

Yes. Full ownership of all design files, code repositories, and infrastructure configuration transfers to you on final payment. There are no ongoing licensing fees, no royalties, and no lock-in. Files are delivered in native formats (Figma, AI, SVG, etc.) and code is handed over via a private GitHub repository.

Will you design something completely bespoke or use templates?

Everything we produce is designed from scratch for your brand. We do not use pre-made templates. Our process starts with strategy, positioning, audience, and market context, before any visual direction is explored.

What technology do you build with?

For websites: Next.js (React) or WordPress depending on content requirements. For web apps and dashboards: Next.js, Supabase (Postgres + Auth + Storage), Tailwind CSS. For automation: Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom Node.js/Python scripts. We choose the right tool for each project, not a one-size stack.

Can I edit my website myself after launch?

Yes. WordPress sites include training on the CMS so you can manage content, images, and posts independently. Next.js sites can be set up with a headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful) for client-managed content. We provide a handover session and documentation for every project.

Do you offer ongoing support after the project ends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Care Plans start at £450/month and cover content updates, plugin/security updates, uptime monitoring, and small feature work. We recommend a care plan for all live websites and apps. Details are on our Pricing page.

Do you handle hosting and domains?

We can set up hosting on your behalf (Vercel, AWS, or your preferred provider) or work within your existing setup. We recommend keeping hosting and domain accounts in your name for full ownership. We handle all the technical configuration as part of the project.

Do you offer SEO services?

We build all sites with on-page SEO foundations: semantic HTML, meta data, structured data, performance, and accessibility. For ongoing SEO strategy, content, and link building, this is handled through our Care Standard and Care Growth retainer plans or quoted as a standalone engagement.

Can you work with an existing brand or website rather than starting from scratch?

Yes. We regularly refresh and evolve existing brands and rebuild websites built elsewhere. We start with an audit of your current assets and then scope the work accordingly, whether that is a refinement, extension, or full rebuild.
